Originally opened in 1933, variety, quality and a wealth of culinary styles are the signatures of The Verandah, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as an array of cakes and sandwiches in the afternoon.

Meet The Chef Frank Haasnoot

The Peninsula Hong Kong is honoured to have Executive Pastry Chef Frank Haasnoot as part of its award-winning culinary team. A leading visionary in the pastry kitchen, Chef Hasnoot is a winner of the prestigious World Chocolate Masters, bringing with him almost two decades' worth of top-tier international experience. The Netherlands native first discovered his passion for pastry at 13, and has since spent years refining his skills at some of the world’s top patisseries and dining establishments.
Commended the world over for his elegant style and skilful technique, Haasnoot has found his perfect match in the pastry kitchen of Hong Kong’s legendary Grande Dame.
