The Monkey and the Mini

The Monkey and the Mini
As the sure-footed Year of the Ram drew to a close, The Peninsula Hong Kong welcomed the boisterous arrival of the Year of the Monkey with an exciting initiative to spread fortune and joy throughout the city. Denizens of Hong Kong and luxury travellers alike are no strangers to the sight of The Peninsula’s fleet of signature green Rolls-Royces and adorable MINI Coopers jetting around, and this Chinese New Year, the Grande Dame added an extra flair of festivities to their travels.

Themed MINI Coopers emblazoned with an exquisite zodiac-inspired motif zipped around the city to offer New Year treats to lucky onlookers. From Mong Kok Flower Market to Causeway Bay, The Peak and TST Star Ferry Pier, the Monkey MINIs and two Peninsula pageboys spread good tidings and auspicious blessings with Fook (fortune) decorated red macarons and traditional Fai Chun decorations. May warm greetings such as these set the tone for a prosperous and happy Year of the Fire Monkey – Kung Hei Fat Choy from all the staff at The Peninsula Hong Kong!
